We are writing to present our candidacy for COMMITTEEPERSON of PROVISO TOWNSHIP. The time is now for a positive change.
Our committee, Mary “May” Larry, firmly embraces the belief that Proviso Township officials should be effective leaders in our municipal government.
We are committed to working hard to improve the quality of life for all residents of our Proviso Township. Please know that we can make a significant difference protecting the integrity of our citizens. As your next Committeeperson, we will work tirelessly to move Proviso Township forward as a working community with a new beginning.
Proviso Township, we personally feel your pain and see your disappointment. Let us begin to rebuild our Township, block by block. Rest assured that there will be no more failed promises, nor business-as-usual. The old machine politics of control within our community is over, we have suffered long enough! WE’RE BETTER TOGETHER!
Let us pause to address the COVID-19 pandemic with nearly one (1) million Americans have died so far during the U.S. COVID-19 pandemic, with more than half those deaths occurring during 2021.. Globally, there have been more than 345 million confirmed COVID-19 cases and more than 5.5 million associated deaths. Yes, we pause as a community to remember friends, family, acquaintances, etc., . . . where a chair will now be empty at the family table. I plead with Proviso Township to wear masks, wash hands frequently, and fervently practice social distancing.

My motivation is based on deep-seated love for the Proviso Township Communities. Hearts are frustrated and breaking as we have undergone a steady overall decline under the current administration. Coming from a large family with life-time residency, my whole history, life and accomplishments are rooted in Proviso Township. Even starting with core leadership roles in high school that ironically kicked off my employment history with a job in the Village of Maywood Mayor’s office! My ongoing skills, experience, get-out the vote, accomplishments, connections and education have well-enlightened, propelled and positioned me to lead the Proviso Township to the former heights and depths formerly experienced.
