We are committed to working hard to improve the quality of life for all our Proviso Township residents. Please know that we can make a significant difference protecting the integrity of our citizens. As your next Proviso Township Committeeperson, we will work tirelessly to move Proviso Township forward as a working Township with a new beginning.
Proviso Township, we personally feel your pain and see your disappointment. Let us begin to rebuild our COMMUNITIES, block by block. Rest assured that there will be no more failed promises, nor business-as-usual. The old machine politics of control within our communities is over, we have suffered long enough! Mary "May" Larry motivation is based on deep-seated love for the Proviso Township Communities. Hearts are frustrated and breaking as we have undergone a steady overall decline under the current administration. Coming from a large family with life-time residency, her whole history, life and accomplishments are rooted in Maywood (Proviso Township.) Even starting with core leadership roles in high school that ironically kicked off her employment history with a job in the Village of Maywood Mayor’s office! Her ongoing skills, experience, get-out the vote, accomplishments, connections and education have well-enlightened, propelled and positioned her to lead the Proviso Township to the former heights and depths formerly experienced. Dr. Mary “May” Larry, Ph.D. ~ Former Maywood Liquor Commissioner. She has extensive knowledge of budgets, policy, and procedures.
